Are you like me? Do you love books?
I love them so much that when I walk into a library or bookstore, I get a natural high from the smell of books, and a rush from the hunt for what treasure I might find hidden in the shelves.
I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin and a highlight of every summer was a weekly visit to our small town library, tucked in a corner room of the volunteer fire station. I became hooked on reading and one year won a contest for most books read. My prize? Not one, but two, Nancy Drew mysteries. I was in my own form of heaven!
Now I’m on the other side, writing books. Although my stories are fictional, they’re about real people with real struggles, with a little bit of humor and romance woven in. I want readers to be entertained, but even more importantly, given hope that God is still in control.
And if we can go to sleep every night, believing God is in control of each day...
we can wake up every morning, believing He’ll be with us each step of the way...
